XLeitz Reference HP - Fast and versatile inspection
The accuracy of the measuring results and its universal applicability are decisively based on the 3D probe system. During every operation, it measures the surface of the part in the X, Y and Z directions simultaneously and, hence, automatically in the direction of the surface normal. Measuring without clamping the axes - this means that the probing system is positioned perpendicular to the surface of the part - the actual direction of the surface normal is determined for every measuring point. Thus, the deflection of the stylus can be calculated and compensated.
The Leitz Reference HP is not only a coordinate measuring machine. It can also be used as a gear inspection center in combination with the software QUINDOS. Over 30 packages, such as, for example, gears, bevel gears, worms, worm wheels, step gears, scroll and screw compressors are available.
With the Option XT - including a sophisticated temperature compensation - the Leitz Reference HP measures reliably throughout the extended temperature range of 15 to 30 degrees Celsius. Indispensible for measuring in a production environment.
LSP-S2 Probe Head (Leitz Reference HP 600/700/900)
With horizontal probe extensions of up to 800 mm length the continuous High-Speed-Scanning probe head LSP-S2 allows the measurement of features deep inside a work piece. Its integrated automatic weight balance system can carry styli configurations of up to 1000 g. LSP-S2 is the ideal probe head for long styli.
Probing deflections are measured via high resolution Linear Variable Differential Transducers (LVDT). The LSP-S2 supports all the standard probing modes like Single Point Probing, Self-Centering as well as Continuous High-Speed-Scanning for fast and accurate form and profile measurements.
Like all other Leitz probe heads, the LSP-S2 provides simultaneous and unclamped probing in all axis, always orthogonal to the surface. This allows the correct compensation of any styli deflection.
LSP-X3 Probe Head (Leitz Reference HP 5.4.3)
A compact, cost-effective but extremely accurate, 3D scanning probe head which can carry up to 360 mm long probing extensions and styli clusters.
The LSP-X3 offers fast single-point probing for all standard measuring tasks as well as High-Speed-Scanning for form and profile inspection and is ideally suited for dimensional control of small to medium high-accuracy prismatic parts and complex geometries.
An automatic tool changing capability allows styli change within a measuring program without the need for probe requalification. Magnetic clamping of styli on the head permits fast and reliable changes.
CMS 106
The CMS 106 laser scanning probe provides many benefits for metrology in a complete and powerful turnkey package via rapid point-cloud capture, including: Feature inspection to CAD (Thin walled / sheet metal parts), free form surface inspection to CAD and reverse engineering.
