Job Profile
Provide technical ownership in a team that helps to accelerate the adoption of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) products and improve customer productivity through effective technical solutions, sales and marketing engagements in the Design, Manufacturing and Quality Analytics space.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver technical engagements on Analytics and Statistical Process Control (SPC) with sales and marketing teams for MI’s customer base
  • Help accelerate the sales benchmarks and closure, as well as the competency of customers through frequent visits, demonstrations, hand holding and implementation, execution and delivery of projects
  • Responsible for understanding business and technical problems faced by the customers, including industry practices, key regulations, business drivers, competitive analyses, evolving business needs, etc.
  • Handling of IT / Measuring Instruments / Manufacturing Machines / Connectivity in the manufacturing setup
  • Create code / programs ranging from simple inspection to complicated logic-based graphical user interfaces based on customer specifications
  • Responsible for conducting meetings, trainings and tailoring communications to address business needs of existing and potential clients
  • Ensure strong customer relationship management, high quality of deliverables & solutions
  • Responsible for staying abreast of product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products
  • Build and sustain a collaborative working relation with counterparts in other regions, management stakeholders to encourage talent / idea / solution sharing
  • Liaison with customers, Sales organization and Channel Partners to provide feedback about features, gaps, competitive analysis and other related information
  • Development of Industry specific and technical whitepapers
  • Attendance at conferences and working with Subject Matter Experts, and research to stay on top of changes in business and technology
  • Develop a good understanding of the Hexagon solution portfolio and develop new / innovative solutions for Smart Manufacturing, leveraging Hexagon group competencies

Education
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical or related engineering from a reputed institution
  • Strong hands-on experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) fundamentals, related software and tools (specifically Q-DAS and eMMA), measuring and manufacturing equipment, and shopfloor practices
  • Good programming background with experience in machine connectivity and machine data analysis

Experience
  • 6+ years of professional experience working in the Quality Assurance / Statistical Process departments of Manufacturing industries
  • Hands-on experience in SPC with Q-DAS and eMMA, as well as other analytics solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Metrology instruments and CNC machines will be considered a plus
  • Experience with ML / AI to solve shopfloor challenges would be an added advantage

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Desired
  • Strong technical aptitude, knowhow and abilities
  • Able to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing processes, systems and applications 
  • Ability to understand and capture business requirements, processes, and customer problems
  • Ability to comprehend and manage complex environments and business interactions
  • Strong work ethic, proactive and problem-solving attitude along with conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building and team building skills
  • Ability to motivate and influence team members and customers
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
  • Readiness to travel up to 60% of the working days
  • Willingness to travel and work at customer sites and adaptability to stretch workhours during crisis hours
