qFLASH-A is a compact and economical 3D optical measurement system designed for use in smaller automated shop-floor inspection cells.
The robust yet lightweight qFLASH-A sensor combines the digital imaging technology of three CMOS cameras with blue light LED illumination and dynamic slide projection technology to create a high-speed inspection solution. It delivers a high frame rate and wide dynamic range to quickly and accurately digitise freeform parts without surface treatment, preparation or the use of markers. Part features are also accurately captured thanks to advanced image analysis and edge detection engines, so users can obtain rich point-cloud data for a wide range of workpieces.
With qFLASH-A, projection and image capture take place within milliseconds, protecting the system from the impact of workshop vibrations or changes in ambient light and ensuring high-quality results whatever the conditions. This makes the qFLASH-A automated measurement system ideally suited to shop-floor applications, enabling you to save the time and effort of moving parts from the workshop for measurement.
qFLASH-A is certified to VDI/VDE standards and ships with CoreView metrology software as standard.
qFLASH-A’s compact and lightweight design, coupled with a short measuring distance of just 500 mm, makes the sensor uniquely suited for use with small robots and in small-footprint measurement cells.

The qFLASH-A system brings automated measurement to the shop floor. Its CoreView metrology software and other optional offline analysis tools promote the use of measured data throughout the organisation through real-time communication of results to managers and engineers.
