  Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking an Inside Sales Manager.

Manages a team of sales representatives who meet sales targets through telemarketing, direct mail, and web-based sales strategies.  Responsible for meeting sales goals by leading and working directly/assisting with new and existing customers.  Works closely with marketing and field sales departments to maintain an understanding of the evolving market.

  • Lead a team of Inside Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly/yearly sales revenue targets
  • Leads forecasting efforts among the team managed, ensuring that accurate forecasts are completed on a timely basis (monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts)
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and process improvements amongst the team, continuously improving the team’s productivity
  • Create and implement strategies to drive in additional sales volume and continue to improve the client experience
  • Lead internal sales meetings as well as coordinate workshops or job-related functions
  • Assisting in client calls with team members, helping to drive up-selling of products and services
  • Participate in development of OKRs and KPI’s for the team and individuals, tracking targets, and success of metrics
  • Prioritizes coaching and performance management efforts to have the greatest overall impact on business results
  • Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional
  • Work with the Human Resources team in hiring and training new team members as well as handling employee issues
  • Participate in the training of the sales force, customer visits and seminars
  • Accountable for the thorough implementation of all customer-related initiatives among inside business development personnel managed
  • Achieves strategic team’s objectives defined by company management
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of company's products and understanding of structure
  • Remains current with industry trends and best practices
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline preferred or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • MBA highly desirable
  • 4 – 7 years of inside sales experience
  • Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills
  • Decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong self-motivation, detail-oriented and ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong skills and experience in people management, coaching and/or mentoring
  • 2+ years’ experience in Salesforce; SalesLoft or similar sales engagement platform experience preferred
  • Experienced with Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to motivate others to deliver w/ dynamic and outgoing personality
  • Works independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
