Short description:

NCSIMUL Support Engineer will serve Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) customers by providing reactive support services, resolving complex NCSIMUL software related issues, escalated by resellers or subsidiaries from various geographical regions. Also provide pro-active pre-sales support the regions across the globe.

The NCSIMUL Support Engineer will report to the Senior Support Manager.

Tasks in detail:

  • Analyze and solve complex NCSIMUL related issues, escalated from different regions
  • Liaise with development teams to promote product enhancements and detail software issues
  • Manage support cases to meet KPI’s & SLA’s
  • Create training course content & “self-service” training & support documents
  • Engage with regional technical support teams to train new features and functionality
  • Attend major exhibitions and events to assist in demonstrations and pre-sales support


  • At least 5 years experience with a similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Good working knowledge of multi-axis production machine tools
  • High level knowledge of CNC machine “G-code” and associated post processors
  • Fluency in English
  • Degree or equivalent education
  • Customer centric attitude and good communication skills
  • Availability to travel occasionally (approximately 10% of the time)

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of a high level programming language.
  • Experience with Fanuc, Siemens and or Heidenhain controllers
  • Experience of NCSIMUL or a competitive verification product
