Job title:                            Applications Engineer (VISI & WORKNC)

Location:                          Gloucester, Chippenham, Reading, Telford or Home based

Objective:

As a member of the UK professional services team working with CAD/CAM products, you will be providing quality pre and post sales technical support, customer training and consultancy. Promoting good practice in the delivery of technical support and customer training using relevant industry knowledge. You will provide technical assistance to the UK & Ireland Sales team and support for Hexagon offices & resellers worldwide.

The Applications Engineer (VISI & WORKNC) will report to the VISI Support & Services Manager.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Deliver training, support and consultancy primarily for VISI and WORKNC but also associated Hexagon Production Software (HPS) products, on site, at Hexagon offices and remotely.
  • Identify Sales opportunities for VISI and WORKNC and other Hexagon Production Software (HPS) products.
  • Create learning media, material etc. to support both direct customers and resellers.
  • Promote VISI, WORKNC and other HPS products through social media.
  • Engage with Product Development teams to provide idea’s for product direction and to ensure that the solutions provided meet the market requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with all key stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Support & Development, as well as with the Customer base.
  • To utilise the Company CRM system to document & manage the delivery of pre-sales activities, post-sales support & services.

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience using CAD/CAM applications and high level of computer competency in current operating systems and Microsoft products.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities as well as ability to build and maintain client relationships and expectations.
  • Customer facing and/or support experience.
  • Ability to organise and structure activities and effective time management.
  • Display a professional attitude & appearance.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
