Short description:

The Acoustic Development Engineer will work with our cutting-edge acoustic simulation software, Actran. The incumbent will develop the software from the user perspective, driving continuous improvement and outstanding quality.

The Acoustic Development Engineer will report to the Technical Director, Research & Development.

Tasks in detail:
  • Contribute as member of the development team, to system development with your experience and expertise
  • Research advanced concepts for development
  • Interact with customers to detect areas for improvement and potential advanced features
  • Connect the product to external/internal software from other aspects of physics (structural, dynamics, etc.)
Requirements:
  • Strong coding skills in Python (C-bindings, Python extension libraries, numpy, scipy, matplotlib)
  • Masters degree or PhD in Engineering, Physics or or Computer Science
  • Experience programming with C++ language (generic programming, Standard Template Library, boost libraries)
  • Fluent English
Nice to have:
  • Work experience in the field of Acoustics
  • Experience, also for a short period, with Acoustic modelling software
  • Used to work with customer centric approach
