Short description:

The CAE Structures Business Developer EMEA will will be responsible for the growth and success of the CAE Structures Center of Excellence of the Design & Engineering Business Unit. You will define, lead, and help with the execution of both short-term tactical approaches to address immediate market opportunities and longer-term strategic approaches to accelerate Structures growth in a sustainable manner

The CAE Structures Business Developer EMEA will report to the Senior Vice President Sales

Tasks in detail:
  • Define and execute the Structures strategy for the EMEA region in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Industry Practice leaders and with the leadership team of the Structures Centre of Excellence
  • Monitor and analyse key economic and technology trends and developments with the EMEA region and translate to tangible actions to capture opportunities or mitigate challenges.
  • Drive growth in leads, opportunities and revenues in EMEA for Structures with specific focus on identified initiatives
  • Work with regional and Structures CoE marketing teams to develop a marketing strategy, messaging and thought leadership in EMEA
  • Identify and contribute improvements to Structures sales materials, knowledge base and expertise
  • Identify and help establish key technology and go-to-market partnerships to expand competitiveness, reach and presence of Structures within the EMEA Market
  • Contribute to and leverage global Structures successes to drive growth in EMEA and WW

Requirements:                                                      
  • 10+ years of experience as a leader in a revenue generating function: Business development, sales, or consulting roles
  • Experience with using and selling structures-related simulation software (Nastran, Marc, Abaqus, or equivalent) with excellent knowledge of other simulation software (CFD, Acoustics etc.)
  • Strong experience and vast network in the CAE structures Market and associated eco-system
  • Fluent English is essential, other languages a bonus
