Contract Administrator

Finance and Controlling, Irvine, CA, United States

The Contract Administrator will be responsible for renewal and new manual quotes and processing of sales orders.
  • Supports the sales team in preparing new order documents using CPQ
  • Quotes renewals, maintains Salesforce opportunity for the quotes, with continual follow up with Account Manager and/or client through to completion/receipt of PO and signed Order Schedule to close order
  • Works closely with legal department on adding/editing special Order Schedule language
  • Obtains, analyzes and reconciles the signed contracts and order forms from customers for all transaction types. Ensures appropriate order approvals are in place
  • Processes sales orders and provides authorization codes in accordance with MSC policies and deliver to permitted user(s)
  • Prepares transfer forms and issues licenses for customer license transfer requests
  • Maintain license to server Excel spreadsheets for large customers with a high volume of software
  • Maintains all legal order documents – contracts, amendments, PO, etc
  • Analyze customer contracts and make recommendation to management on corrective actions
  • Degree/professional qualification Business Admin or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in sales order processing environment required
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and customer service skills
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and understand diverse software platforms
  • Intermediate excel skills required  
  • Proficiency in Salesforce is preferred
  • Ability to work independently on multiple activities, showing appropriate level of prioritization and escalation skills
  • Flexibility and an appreciation of a fast-moving and international environment
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and work with cross functional teams
  • Understanding of compliance with company practices and methods of working
