New Wilmington Solution Centre

Our first HxGN LOCAL event of 2016 was a success! The day started with a meet and greet, followed by a welcome address from Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence President and CEO, North America, Angus Taylor.
“Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is pleased to open the doors to our newest solution center in the Mid-Atlantic area," states Mr. Taylor, "the new Wilmington facility will house project managers and technical staff ready to work with local manufacturers to solve quality or process control issues. Our broad expertise and worldwide network of technology experts will surely be an asset for companies looking to leverage the speed and confidence our intelligent measurement solutions offer forward-thinking manufacturers."

Following Angus was Stacey Bowes, Customer Relations supervisor. She spoke about all of the ways the Customer Relations Group can help with renewal of maintenance contracts, tech support, installation help and additional training through HexagonMetrologyU.  Attending the Wilmington HxGN LOCAL is a great opportunity to reach out to customers who may not be aware of all the new benefits the Software and Hardware Maintenance Agreements offer, the services that their personal Customer Relations Representative can offer and improvements to accessing help when it’s needed!

“In addition to networking with Hexagon specialists and fellow peers, customers enjoyed the demos of the different manufacturing solutions we offer, helpful demos on the latest version of PC-DMIS and not to mention the Hexagon swag and refreshments.”

We finished the day with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This is our newest solution center which now makes twelve in the U.S. The Wilmington solution center will offer training and customer support in the Mid-Atlantic region, serving industries such as shipbuilding, automotive, and food processing.  After this, we’re on to Nashville on July 14th and then up to Milwaukee on July 19th.
