Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a VP Software Sales.  This will be a remote role, the ideal candidate will be located in one of the following regions, Greater Detroit, Southern California, or New England.

Description:
The VP Software Sales, Americas is responsible for senior sales leadership, fiscal planning, setting strategy and attaining targets, as well as establishing sales territories and goals, training, and market research.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all sales related activities for the company
  • Manage multiple sales departments and their respective managers
  • Forecast revenue growth; achieve revenue goals as defined by management and oversee expense P&L
  • Drive sales through identifying business opportunities within the competitive landscape
  • Identify and provide training opportunities to improve morale, productivity, and effectiveness for the sales team
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
  • Create, foster, and lead a consistently high-performing sales team able to meet or exceed quarterly and annual profit targets and stretch goals
  • Consistent monitoring, accurate reporting on sales activity and monthly / quarterly forecasting
  • Leading initiatives to drive customer awareness and engagement
  • Developing and executing successful sales campaigns and engaging in C-Level presentations

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of recent experience in a senior sales leadership role
  • Enterprise Sales experience required
  • Experience with Software Sales
  • Demonstrated success in leading and scaling large New Business and Customer Success functions
  • Experience in sales coaching and mentoring
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employee relations to conduct and deal with employee issues in a proactive manner
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Good quantitative skills and cost management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
