Summary
  • Work together with Global Endpoint Team and IT Leaders to support the HMI Endpoint environment. 
  • Work with Engineering team for product and configuration requirement and to deliver them with respect to deadline.
  • Develop and implement automation to ease functional process.
Duties and Responsibilities 
 
  • Supporting 10000+ Endpoints as L2 Endpoint Team member for Application Packaging,
Scripting, Deployment, policies etc.
  • Handling Endpoint issues reported through ticket system (Service Now) and to understand
when to escalate
  • Group Policies/Administrative templates creation for Endpoints
  • Creating custom collections using WQL queries
  • Working on SCCM/Intune for Application packaging, Software distribution,
Operating System Deployment, Task sequence
  • Scripting application deployment/ configuration deployment or wherever necessary
  • Maintaining inventory and Software Metering using SCCM/Intune
  • Patching & OS Deployment/Upgrade Management
  • SCCM report generation needed for inventory, audits and as required
  • Documenting relevant or newly process/environment created
  • Administering users/groups in Active Directory with certificate installation/deployment, GPOs
  • Troubleshooting Client installation and software distribution/installation issues
  • Analysing and applying patches, service packs and infrastructure updates
  • Deploying Operating systems using task sequence
  • Application Management in SCCM and troubleshooting through logs
  • Participate in business meetings with various stake holders on a need basis
  • Participate in tasks as an Endpoint member and on global projects
  • Manage and prioritize issues with minimal supervision,
excellent analytical/organizational skills, a teamwork approach to work.
  • Maintain business relationships with other IT departments to ensure successful
implementation and support of projects
  • Follow standard IT procedures and redirect problems to appropriate
team when needed
 
  • Manage assigned Endpoint projects and deliverables
 
  • Prepare acquired companies with smooth transitioning to HMI environment
  • Analyse and resolve problems associated with issues, and recommends solutions
for changing requirements

Qualifications  

Education: 
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or closely related field.  
Certification: 
  • Certifications relevant to area of responsibilities is a plus (e.g. SCCM, Intune, Azure, other relevant Cloud certifications) 
Experience: 
  • Worked min 3 years in IT in relevant field 
  • Strong understanding on SCCM Administration, Application deployment, Scripting, GPOs, Reporting, WML queries, OSD with task sequence, Windows Patch management
  • Hands on experience on creating/deploying Group Policies
  • Hands on creating custom collections using WQL query
  • Hands on experience with SCCM administration, managing Distribution points, applying service packs and upgrading.
  • Hands on experience in Scripting, Application packaging, creating reports using SQL queries, OSD using task sequence, windows patch management
  • Hands on experience in various deployments troubleshooting through logs.
  • Fundamental knowledge to manage projects and an understanding of project methodology
  • Good oral and written communication skills, Good Presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and ability to handle high demands
  • Knowledge of Linux architecture, exchange, Office 365 / Active directory administration
  • Knowledge of Intune, Azure is a plus
