This sales support position is available at our Wilmington, Delaware location. Building strong, personal relationships with our customers is a key component of our business strategy! Job Summary
As the Inside Sales Representative, you will help drive the sales process by supporting the sales team, performing day-to-day tasks to free up outside Sales Engineers so they can be in front of customers. These tasks will include SFDC scheduling, coordination of product demonstrations, coordinating and maintaining sales schedules, reviewing orders, CRM data entry, and communicating with customers and team members. As an integral member of the sales team, you will establish rapport and build relationships with customers. You will be relied on to maintain and communicate the data gathered in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to Sales and other internal departments. As the liaison, you will address customer and business needs, and actively engage in strategic projects designed to streamline and enhance the sales process.

Additional responsibilities will include
  • Performing specialized sales tasks including SFDC scheduling, coordination of product demonstrations, sales proposals, addressing customer needs, order statuses, and driving strategic projects
  • Proactively ensuring outside sales has information & documentation for upcoming appointments
  • Coordinating & maintaining sales schedules by assigning tasks, calls and follow-up activities
  • Communicating information & critical data to appropriate salesperson and team members
  • Receiving and reviewing orders for accuracy and completeness
  • CRM data entry and ensuring integrity of the data
  • Monitoring CRM matrices, user engagement, and data accuracy
  • Developing strong Hexagon product and standard configuration knowledge
  • Travel – up to 10% domestic travel may be required
Qualifications and Skills
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • 2+ years of experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Database management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Professional and engaging telephone presence
  • Ability to establish rapport and build long-term relationships with customers
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Highly effective interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal
  • Highly organized in planning and time management
  • Ability to interact effectively and establish productive working relationships throughout organization
  • Comfortable and productive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) highly desirable
