Hexagon to Preview ALPHACAM 2022 at AWFS Fair 2021

ALPHACAM software experts to present an AWFS Rapid Fire session on July 20

North Kingstown, RI – July 19, 2021 – Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division announced today it will offer an exclusive preview of its ALPHACAM 2022 software release in Booth 3723 during the Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers Fair (AWFS) 2021, July 20 - 22, 2021, Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV. ALPHACAM is used exclusively for woodworking and stone cutting applications. Also demonstrated on the show floor will be CABINET VISION, a dedicated and modular software package for design through manufacture of furniture and case goods. A full array of technologies for woodworking, fabrication, CAD/CAM, measurement and project management software will be exhibited during AWFS 2021. In Booth #4681 on July 20 at 12:10 PST, AWFS Rapid Fire sessions will feature Hexagon ALPHACAM software experts Perry Boyett and Criss Reid delivering their presentation How to Automatically Create Machine-Ready G-Code from a Solid Model Assembly. The AWFS Fair hosts North America's largest gathering of woodworking equipment and technology providers, educational sessions, and much more. 

Also in Booth 3723, Hexagon’s #MakeItSmarter Theater provides a key venue for subject matter expert (SME) presentations at regular intervals during the show. Starting at 10am each day, Hexagon’s industry pros will cover trending topics including how to lower lumber and materials costs, streamlining closet design and manufacturing, reverse engineering for architectural restoration and reproduction, and much more. Other topics include tips to simplify designing and manufacturing for commercial applications and best practices for automating and utilizing submittal drawings to communicate with architects and builders. Hexagon experts will demonstrate ALPHACAM 2022 throughout the event and introduce its new improvements to CAD, clamps, automation, machining, nesting, working with solids, and much more. AWFS attendees will get a firsthand look at a wide range of enhancements across the breadth of the product, as well as new functionality to help users automate more and more daily tasks.
