Hexagon's COVID-19 Support & Response | Official Statement
Xm&h infrared probes are touch trigger probes. When approaching a workpiece surface, the stylus deflects and a trigger signal is transmitted to the receiver by infrared light. Interference-free signal transmission between probe and receiver is absolutely vital for process-reliable measuring on machine tools.
The new bidirectional probe m&h IRP 25.50 is characterized by its modular structure. Various measuring units, different extensions and cross-probes can be used.
The m&h IRP25.50-TP temperature probe measures workpiece temperature automatically both before and during machining, enabling greater control of production processes and adaptation of machining parameters during production.
The m&h IRP40.02 infrared touch probe system meets all requirements for measurement on the machine tool. Extreme accelerations, high positioning speeds, constant vibrations, hard tool changes, increased temperatures and aggressive coolants pose no problems for m&h touch probes. m&h’s precision mechanics can continue to switch extremely precisely and without wear for years under all these conditions.
The infrared touch probe IRP40.42 has been specially designed for measuring sensitive materials and thin, fragile workpiece geometries within harsh machine tool environments.
The ultrasmall infrared probe IRP40.50, with a diameter of only 25 millimeters and a length of 42.4 millimeters, can find a place in any small machining center and leaves sufficient space so that measurement is also possible on the Z axis without a danger of collision.
IRR91.42 reliably receives measurement and temperature data. It can communicate with m&h infrared probes and infrared tool setters. The receiver can communicate with three different probing systems on the same machine. All necessary components are integrated in the compact stainless steel housing.
The bidirectional infrared receiver IRR91.50 is able to simultaneously communicate with two probing systems on the same machine.
