Hexagon Opens New Demo Centre in Šentjanž pri Dravogradu, Slovenia
New Centre Extends Reach of Measurement Consultancy, Service and Support, and Training in Southeast Europe05 March 2019
On 5 March 2019, Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division opened a new demo centre in Šentjanž pri Dravogradu, Slovenia. The ribbon was cut by Daniele Andrea Gastaldo, CMM Product Line Manager for CEE, Christian Hellwig, Laser Tracker Product Line Manager, and Marko Modic, Manager of the Slovenian branch office. The ceremony also featured the debut presentation of the new Leica Absolute Tracker ATS600, the world’s first direct scanning laser tracker.
The Slovenia demo centre offers presentations of coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and equipment for portable inspection and laser scanning measurements, as well as retrofits and upgrades to enhance existing CMM installations. The Slovenian team supports customers with specialist consultancy, including the creation of measuring programs and executing highly-accurate measurements of parts on coordinate and optical measuring machines and laser scanners.
This new technology centre will play a key role for training customers from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia.
