Technical Support Engineer

Description:  
The Technical Support Engineer will provide comprehensive professional application services to Hexagon’s existing & prospective customers and resellers, ensuring that customers and resellers receive superior software applications support to enable them to use and promote software products.

Responsibilities:   
  • Using knowledge of business processes, provide comprehensive technical expertise to customers, employees and partners and promoting positive customer relations
  • Lead implementation project, coordinating with Support Manager on solutions design.  Implementing WorkPlan successfully in the customer environment.
  • Analyze customer’s business processes and provide solutions using WPL.
  • Configure WPL to integrate with various systems (i.e. Quickbooks).
  • Provide user training and support.
  • Record all activity in CRM database
Qualifications:   
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, System Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field
  • Knowledge in Business Administration or Accounting is a plus
  • Experience with ERP system implementation a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to present and speak effectively at meetings, seminars, trade shows and other public events.
  • Must be or become proficient in the use of WORK PLAN & Radan software packages.
  • Develop proficiency in other CAD programs – from companies like Autodesk, Solid Edge, and Solid Works – as provided by Hexagon.
