 Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Corporate Development Associate.

Description:  

The Corporate Development Associate will support all aspects of the Mergers, strategic partnerships, and Acquisitions processes, including the identification of targets and opportunities, the execution of transactions and relevant marketplace activities. In doing so, this individual will work on sophisticated financial analysis and project management to conduct M&A and partnership activities from the strategic analysis phase of the transaction lifecycle, through execution and eventual integration

Responsibilities:   
  • Formulate and present business cases for investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestments to divisional senior leadership team
  • Conduct market analysis for adjacent markets, including identifying and keeping abreast of market trends, market mapping and fundamental analysis of market participants
  • Buy/Build/Partner analysis
  • Valuation modelling
  • Assistance with building and managing pipeline, including initial outreach, and ongoing relationship management
  • Investment/acquisition process management – management of deals from ideation through to integration management
  • Act as a lead business partner to Business Units and Geographies in executing their inorganic growth activities
  • Supporting corporate strategic planning for Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, including the identification of key focus areas of the M&A strategy, and supporting rationale
  • Project managing due diligence processes
  • Craft professional presentations for senior leadership
  • Assist in all aspects of the Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence’s strategy including sourcing and qualification of opportunities, market research, competitive analysis, due diligence, and deal execution
Qualifications:   
  • Bachelor’s degree Finance, Economics, or Business required
  • 2-5 years of experience in related field
  • SaaS business model experience required
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills
  • Creative, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant software
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
  • Works under close direction as well as in a team environment
