Job Profile Provide leadership and drive accelerated business growth for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Simulation Tool Cradle CFD under Design & Engineering (D&E) Portfolio of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) in the Indo-Pacific region, in association with the teams that helps to accelerate the promotion and adoption of D&E and Hexagon MI solutions. Lead, develop and implement growth strategies for Cradle CFD Product solutions efficiently, by creating effective and business-relevant solutions, practice development, and marketing engagements across industries. Duties / Responsibilities
- Lead Hexagon MI’s CFD suite of products in all industries, help generate business opportunities, and bring them to fruition through technical and business development activities
- Lead the Indo-Pacific CFD technical team and work with sales personnel to provide product, domain and technology knowledge in support of pre-sales and business development activities
- Work independently, in association with the Indian and Global Sales, Technical and Marketing personnel, to achieve revenue targets for Indo-Pacific region
- Build and follow up on sales leads, make and maintain account plans, and establish long term customer relationships, develop proposals and support opportunities towards closure
- Understand business and technical challenges faced by customers including industry practices, key regulations, business drivers, competitive analyses, evolving business needs, etc.
- Stay abreast of product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products
- Systematic reporting of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Forecasts
- Be hands-on with the product usage and conduct successful demonstrations and benchmarks
- Develop and enable Channel Partners and associate in Channel growth
- Liaison with Product Management, sales organization and customers to provide feedback about features, gaps, competitive analysis and other related information
- Responsible for understanding business challenges faced by the customers and prospects, including industry practices, key regulations, business drivers, competitive analyses, and evolving business needs
- Have a good understanding of the Hexagon MI solution portfolio, and manage successful demonstrations and benchmarks
- Mentor and guide Tech Sales team members
- Responsible for conducting meetings, trainings, awareness programs and tailoring communications to address business needs of existing and potential customers in the region, as well as documenting the engagements on a regular basis
- Attend conferences and work with Subject Matter Experts, and research to stay on top of changes in business and technology; Develop industry-specific and technical whitepapers
Education
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or MBA from a reputed institution
- Strong understanding and experience in CFD simulation sales with leading commercial simulation softwares
- An established and successful background in Business Development and Sales
- Well-connected in and knowledgeable about the Region and Customers (especially in Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics and HVAC)
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in the simulation software sales, CFD tool specific sales experience will be added advantage
- Good knowledge of industry standards, processes, and tools
- Good aptitude to capture customer requirements, perform market studies and drive commercial business
