Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence to Exhibit Solutions for Design and Engineering, Production and Metrology at Hannover 2018
Manufacturing Solutions Specialist Will Demonstrate How Quality Improvements Drive Productivity19 April 2018
Billed as the world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology, Hannover Messe welcomed over 220 000 attendees last year to explore innovations and opportunities in networked production solutions. The event’s lead theme for 2018 is ‘integrated industry – connect & collaborate’, and visitors can see this theme in action on Hexagon’s stand, as the bike part is simulated using MSC Apex CAE software, the machining is simulated with Edgecam CAD CAM software, and the part is inspected using the combined probing and scanning capability of the ROMER Absolute Arm.
In addition, attendees will learn how to optimise production parameters, as Hexagon demonstrates the feedback loop between a measuring and milling machine in the production of a milled part. Also on display will be a fully-automated robotic cell with a laser tracker system and the inspection of a sheet metal part using the BLAZE 600M blue light scanner system. There will also be demonstrations of Simufact additive manufacturing simulation software and a virtual factory using Hexagon’s online quality data and measurement resource management software HxGN SMART Quality.
“Connectivity between departments is increasingly crucial in modern manufacturing and enhancing data communication throughout the process is a real competitiveness game-changer,” says Marcel Brand, Director Marketing & Communications EMEA. ‘Hannover Messe showcases the cutting edge in industrial technology and presents a unique opportunity for us to demonstrate the power of quality and the levels of connectivity and productivity enhancements professionals gain from our quality solutions.”
Hannover Messe 2018 takes place 23-27 April at Hannover Exhibition Centre, Germany. Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence will be located in Hall 17 on stand E49.
