Short description:

Person will report to the Senior Engineering Analyst and will be responsible for providing technical support to System Dynamics software customers. 


Tasks in detail:
  • Support customers from a software point of view (First Line tickets)
  • Presentation of Romax and ADAMS software products to customers
  • Software training for customers
  • Provide System Dynamics software to customers (licences, installation, etc.)
  • Prepare and finalise software evaluation plans
  • Answer technical questions and monitor progress during software evaluations
  • Deliver work on engineering consultancy projects: using the software to analyze the design of drivetrain systems and components to inform engineering decisions


Requirements:
  • Entry level or 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • BEng or MEng in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Ideally knowledge of Romax, ADAMS or similar software packages
  • High level of analytical ability and strong engineering judgement in developing solutions to engineering problems.
  • Knowledge of rotating machine is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
