Short description:

The International Custom Applications Engineer will be responsible for the application customisation through ALPHACAM API, custom application development and add-ins including post processor development. They will provide operational pre and post-sales support, documentation and training on Custom Applications to GEO employees and resellers.

The International Custom Applications Engineer will report to the International Support Manager – Wood, Stone & Composites.


Tasks in more detail:
 
  • Participation in Pre and Post-Sales Support with GEO’s (Direct, Indirect, Reseller and Machinery Partners/OEM’s) which require custom development
  • Write documentation for Custom API’s, and give presentations concerning them
  • Post-Sales Support on Custom API’s with GEO Support and Services Teams
  • Collaboration with Custom API team on all projects, ensuring ability to re-use existing internal and external API’s

Requirements:
 
  • Proficient in VB, C#,C++, Visual Studio
  • Extensive knowledge of CAD/CAM applications
  • 2 years + years of experience in a similar role
  • Basic Project management/tracking
  • Debugging skills
  • Version control
  • Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to learn
  • A team player who can work effectively within a worldwide organisation

At any time during the recruitment process you can request your data to be deleted from our database. You are always able to apply to any position advertised by Hexagon once more.
