Job Profile
Drive accelerated business growth for Hexagon Production Software in the North region of India, in association with the teams that promote Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) solutions. Lead, develop and implement growth strategies for Production Software (PS) and Smart Manufacturing (SM) solutions efficiently, by creating effective and business-relevant solutions, practice development, and marketing engagements across industries.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Lead Hexagon Production Software (HPS) sales in the assigned region and drive accelerated business growth
  • Position and drive HPS suite of products across multiple industries, generate business opportunities and pipeline, and bring them to fruition through end-to-end sales cycles
  • Build and follow up on sales leads, make and maintain Account Plans, establish long term customer relationships, develop opportunities towards closure, develop proposals, process orders, and ensure collection of payment
  • Systematic reporting of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Forecasts
  • Manage Key Accounts, ensure healthy relationships with Customers and Channel Partners
  • Develop and enable Channel Partners and associate in Channel growth
  • Work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Technical, Business Development, Marketing and Support, as well as Strategic Partners / Vendors / Solution providers to deliver customer success and realized value to drive business growth for HPS
  • Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with counterparts in other regions and management stakeholders to encourage account and solution cooperation
  • Continuously enhance understanding of the competitive landscape of the target market; seize opportunities to adapt, change and respond with the business models
  • Understand business and technical problems addressed by the products including industry practices, key regulations, business drivers, competitive analyses, evolving business needs, etc.
  • Stay abreast of competitive landscape and product roadmap by understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products, as well as by attending webinars and marketing events
  • Evaluate strategic business propositions, potential partnerships & alliances, and make recommendations to management on strategies to implement new business activities; translate the recommendation(s) into action
  • Develop a good understanding of the Hexagon solution portfolio, and positioning them
  • Collaborate with other Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence teams to build and develop One MI solution offerings for customers and work as a part of the team to close them
Education
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering or related from a reputed institution
  • MBA with a focus on Business Strategy would be a plus
  • Experience in negotiating Sales Contracts with Key Accounts
  • Knowledge of the North Region and Customers (especially in Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics, Machinery, and Defense industries as well as Academia)
  • Proficiency with Sales CRM systems such as SDFC
  • Good knowledge of industry standards, processes and tools, including manufacturing techniques
Experience
  • 15 years’ experience in Sales and business development of CAD/CAM solutions
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in selling CAM software associated with machine shops, machine tool builders and manufacturing organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve Sales targets quarterly and annually
  • Experienced in diligent sales forecasting through detailed study and with the appropriate software and systems, and meeting them consistently
  • Good aptitude to capture customer requirements, perform market studies, and drive commercial business
  • Excellent network at all levels in the relevant industries and organizations in the assigned region
  • Experience in Digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0 technologies and Digital transformation would be added advantage
  • Experience developing business and marketing plans, and executing them through own team as well as channel partners
