To further develop and improve the software and IIoT solutions around our Metrology products
the Business Unit Metrology Devices is looking for a

Technical Product Manager Digital Solutions

to strengthen the global Metrology team. Preferred location is nearby one of the major European Hexagon MI facilities (Wetzlar (Germany), Torino (Italy), Heerbrugg or Unterentfelden (Switzerland)). We support remote working.

Form with us the digital future of our Metrology Devices and help us to transform traditional products into IIOT devices. Work together with international and cross functional experts all around the globe to make metrology smarter and connected.

Maintasks:
 
  • Develop concepts for integration of our coordinate measurement devices into digital environments such as IIoT systems, cloud environments and others
  • Develop and adopt together with the System Product Managers business models in connection with the IIoT solutions for our hardware portfolio
  • Define requirements based on strategic directions and direct customer input with focus on IIOT, business systems connections, machine interfaces and end user software applications together with other Product Managers in the team
  • Engineer, prioritize, and coordinate epics and user stories with internal and external software and hardware teams
  • Coordinate software tests with internal and external departments or beta customers
  • Worki close at the interface with Research & Development and Product Management Teams across whole Hexagon MI

Your skills:
 
  • Degree in software or other relevant engineering discipline, ideally with a certificate in requirements engineering or a completed CAS in business requirements engineering
  • At least three years of experience in Product Management
  • Very Good English level, both spoken and written.
  • Hands-on experience in requirement engineering or related field is a plus
  • High level of initiative and a can-do attitude in collaborative team setting and matrix environment
  • Communicative team player in intercultural setup with a good sense for Stakeholder Management
  • Understanding of Industrial Metrology, software development, Cloud and IIoT technologies are beneficial
  • Willingness to travel 30-40%
