 Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence, division is seeking a Director of Product Marketing.

Description:  
As Director, Product Marketing, you will be responsible for establishing the overall marketing strategy, messaging, positioning, and go-to-market support for HMI’s new cloud-based platform and solutions. 
This will be a new and highly innovative platform embracing a broad range of technologies from Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division, (MI), delivering on our high-level vision of autonomy and sustainability in manufacturing. In this role, you will collaborate with leaders in Product Management, Sales, and Partnerships/Alliances to build a holistic marketing strategy that drives market demand, builds pipeline, and supports value-driven enterprise buyer conversations. You will define the positioning for growth and expansion and then engage with our corporate marketing, demand generation and field marketing teams to ensure these customer-centric messages reach the market. In partnership with the broader global marketing organization, you will assess and report out on the marketing performance and work to optimize marketing spend to raise awareness, move customers along the buyer’s journey and maximize results.

Responsibilities:   
  • Develop a marketing strategy for the platform, understanding its relationship to the entire MI portfolio and how it can be used to drive revenue retention and growth
  • Define and execute a marketing plan for the platform, starting with initial launch and extending to ongoing campaigns
  • Work with regional marketing teams to deliver campaigns and to align lead generation activities.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop marketing and sales enablement content to support demand generation, field marketing, and strategic pursuit programs
  • Work with sales teams globally to ensure alignment and provide appropriate training and tools to help sell the platform and its content.
  • Develop and Communicate marketing plans and performance cross-functionally, improving understanding of impact for stakeholders outside of Marketing
  • Analyse marketing performance and identify areas of opportunity for improved collaboration, increased agility, and refined messaging and campaign tactics
  • Manage spend against targets, prioritize resource allocation in support of BU strategies, business priorities, and marketing goals
  • Support marketing programs and events as needed in line with the marketing plan.
  • Define metrics to measure the effectiveness of all marketing activities.
  • Support Product Management with market and competitor analysis and contribute to definition of requirements for the platform.
  • Manage a small product marketing team in pursuit of all these responsibilities.
Qualifications:   
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • A master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years software product marketing experience in growing technology companies - Experience in cloud / SaaS based products or platform companies is a must
  • Deep Product Marketing expertise, with an exceptional track record of marketing cloud products and platforms that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives
  • Advanced knowledge of modern marketing methods, metrics, and tools
  • Experience utilizing data, analytics, and tools to support and enhance marketing strategy
  • Self-motivated, curious; collaborative; ability to navigate and work in a matrix organization
  • Detail and results-oriented; skilled at strategy, planning, and hands-on execution
  • A mission-driven, team player approach; and a desire to make an impact and difference.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of and experience within the manufacturing domain is preferred but not mandatory.
