Short description:
We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our team with highly technical skills in robotics and optimization algorithms, working on our next generation software. You can find a link to our HxGN Robotic Automation product at the end of this ad.

As Scrum Master you will lead the product development team, ensuring a successful and smooth product delivery. You will facilitate communication, champion teamwork and remove roadblocks that could hinder or slow down the development work.

The team consists out of multidisciplinary engineers working remotely in various EMEA locations. We believe in a self-sufficient work mentality aided by applying Agile methodology and a constant contribution towards team improvement. In our offices near Barcelona, we have a real-life factory room with robots where the team can apply and verify the result of their developments.

Senior Scrum Master reports to the Software Development Lead.

About you
You have an integrative way of working, where you want to establish a smooth agile/iterative process of collaboration and task management. Your mindset is towards people interaction and improvements, while your toolset consists of a love of data and continuous feedback. As an experienced Scrum Master you know it is as important to apply past (or established) learnings/ways of working, as it is to listen to your gut. 

Tasks in detail:

• Establish team dynamics, culture and mindset to create a relentless improvement and establish a high performing team.
• Remove impediments to the team and team’s delivery and protect the team from non-value-add interference, interruptions or distractions.
• Enable the teams progress towards the team/sprint goals.
• Facilitate the Scrum or Kanban events.
• Promote quality practices and assist the teams in constantly improving the quality of their deliverables (DOR, DOD).
• Facilitation of a healthy relationship between the team and product owner.
• Support the Product Owner to manage the backlog.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Scrum Master. Ideally some experience with more than two Scrum teams working on one product.
• Practical experience in the areas of coaching, mediation and/or moderation as well as clear communication skills.
• Ability to detect/facilitate any improvements for inter-human relationships.
• Very good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience with project management methods and tools, combined with the openness to critically question what has been learned and to adapt it to the Scrum Framework.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Jira.  
• Experience with Safe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology. 
• Worked with projects combining hardware with software. 
• Knowledge of Spanish language.
