Short description:

We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst (w/m/d) to manage the finance activities of our three German entities: Vires, Simufact and MSC Software. All three are part of Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division.

The Senior Financial Analyst (w/m/d) will work closely with an outsourced accounting team, the local finance teams in several EMEA countries, and a number of other key stakeholders. The role thus requires teamwork and supervisory skills. The main focus of this role is on Germany, but there is also some minor work around the rest of the DACH region.

In our newly refurbished office in Garching-Hochbrück, close to Munich, we are following hybrid working arrangements – working part of the week from the office, part of the week from home.

This role reports to the Finance Director D&E Software EMEA.

Tasks in detail:
  • Working with an outsourced accounting team and the local finance team in several EMEA countries to get the accounting done for the three business entities.
  • DACH accounting and tax management: ensure completeness compliance, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Control and review of DACH management financial results as per group requirements and IFRS standards.
  • Internal audit: maintenance and compliance.
  • Payroll processing and reporting in compliance with local laws.
  • Interface with auditors, local tax authorities, banks and lawyers.
  • Reviewing or implementing of new finance policies if needed.
  • Ensuring policies and procedure are enforced.

  • 5-10 years of experience in a senior finance role, within a in a multinational organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, laws and best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis, accounting and tax.
  • IFRS and German GAAP (HGB) knowledge.
  • Excellent organizational and critical decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal/relational skills.
  • Fluent in English and German.

Nice to have:
  • Experience at Management level.
  • Experience working in a software company.
  • Proficient in the use Microsoft Business Central.
