Short description:
We are looking for a Technical Consultant in Italy to deliver engineering consultancy projects using the Romax software and other CAE tools in the domain of multibody dynamics. Office locations could be Torino or Genova.

The person chosen in this role will join our System Dynamics Romax Engineering team, which is comprised of Subject Matter Experts, specialized in solving problems for a wide array of customers and industries (automotive, aerospace, defense, medical, power generation…).

This position is best suited for a person highly interested in technical projects and with a desire to help our customers solve simulation problems for their most advanced products. 

Tasks in detail:
  • Delivery of engineering consultancy projects using the Romax software and other CAE tools to analyze the design of drivetrain systems and components to inform engineering decisions.
  • Create models using Romax software.
  • Analyse designs and generate results.
  • Optimise designs using the Romax software.
  • Produce reports for customers.
  • Frequent interaction with customers throughout the project (kick off meeting, presentation of modelling assumptions, regular meetings to present analysis results, project completion).
  • Preparation of technical proposals for customers.
  • Work with and as part of a global team.
Requirements:
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Physics, or another technical degree program.
  • High level of analytical ability and engineering judgement to develop solutions to engineering problems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent Italian and English.
  • Availability to travel occasionally within the country to meet customers.
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of rotating machine.
  • Knowledge of Romax or similar software tools.
