Knowledge
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and best practices.
  • Good understanding of ID models (ADDIE, Dick and Carey, Gangne’s Nine Events, etc.)
  • Design learning objectives using Blooms Taxonomy.
  • Experience in creating training material for the PLM/PDM/CAD products desirable.
  • Design and develop engaging content using various tools—Camtasia, PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, and ISpring Pro.
Responsibilities
  • Create e-Learning modules by bringing together multimedia features, such as text, audio, graphics, animation, and video to create outstanding educational experience.
  • Design and develop engaging and interactive learning programs and compelling course content that address technical business needs and enhances knowledge retention.
  • Review existing content, identify content gaps, suggest improvements, and make recommendations to change content to achieve the required learning outcomes.
  • Align course activities, learning materials, and assessments with learning objectives.
  • Collaborate with the SMEs to obtain information, collate them, and resolve issues in a timely manner to complete deliverables.
  • Structure, chunk and/or re-create existing content into bite-sized learning modules.
  • Develop best practices on content creation for varied audiences with varied knowledge skills.  
  • Communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders necessary to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Ensuring new and updated training content is designed, developed and maintained.
  • Employ role and end to end business scenario approach to develop training content.
  • Determine the training content updates required to support changes in product functionality
  • Work with SMEs to develop and maintain standard product training databases across the platform to facilitate hands-on exercises.
Skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good understanding of curriculum development, instructional design, and test development.
  • Strong emphasis on quality and adherence to styles, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Structure content and good visualization skills
  • An attitude to own & drive projects from ideation to final deployment.
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods.
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
  • Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines.
  • Adapt to changing requirements, scopes, and schedules.
  • Willingness to accept various assignments, tasks, and responsibilities.
  • Be self-initiated, self-learner, proactive, and motivated.
  • Edit, organize, proof-read, and finalize the content produced by the writers and/or SMEs
