Deputy/Assistant Manager- Field Marketing – India

Job Profile
As a committed business partner, we are investing in this region’s future by expanding our team to support our growing customer base in India. The primary purpose of this role is to direct the regional field marketing, planning, development and end-to-end marketing execution. This includes leading strategic and tactical industry marketing programs in alignment with global corporate strategy. In addition, the position will also be responsible for managing corporate brand continuity throughout the region to ensure global brand compliance and consistency and provision of industry and market analysis to enable strategic decision making.
Duties / Responsibilities

•Develop and execute INDIA specific marketing plans in line with the regional growth and revenue objectives, in alignment with sales strategies and marketing goals, including leverage and customisation ofcorporate provided global marketing programs for INDIA needs
•Consult and provide INDIA sales priority inputs to the global marketing program team
•Develop and execute marketing awareness programs customised for the INDIA region
•Manage, track and report on regional marketing awareness programs and lead generation development
•Generate client reference materials, which are made available for Sales use
•Manage the anticipated growth and expansion of the regional marketing teams to ensure quality and timelyexecution of regional marketing plans within established budgets
•Direct the localisation of industry marketing materials and programs, sales support tools, web presence andother marketing programs
•Manage low-cost and central translation service for relevant sales tools, web content and other marketingprograms
•Provide Country-specific market and competitor analysis contributing to strategic inputs for countrymanagement
•Provide interpretation and counsel to senior country leaders and local management team regardingmarketing communications strategies including the governance of key messages, tactics, budgets, timingand measurement
•Recommending and managing the internal dissemination of company news, announcements and othercommunications
•Develop and execute pre/post sales specific customer company-wide campaigns to increase awarenesspenetration
•Convey the company message through the direction of the organisation’s marketing communicationsstrategies including media coverage, press release and media articles
•Manage the global brand continuity and compliance throughout the regional marketing programs, materials,collateral and other materials as define by the organizational brand guidelines

Education Qualification
• Tertiary qualifications in marketing and communications.
• MBA from a top tier school preferred
• Proven ability to develop, manage and execute comprehensive 360-degree marketing plans in support of organizational strategy
• Ability to work on issue where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, and ability to work and present complex data
• Ability to plan and comply to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
Experience
• Extensive experience in fast moving marketing and communications team with10 years+ [grade adjusted according to total years of relevant experience +/-v]
• Proven ability to manage, monitor and align budgets and budget allocations to maximise marketing effectiveness with established budget and guidelines.
• Experience in managing and directing marketing programs across INDIA by sub region, BU, product and industry
• Demonstrable experience in a regional marketing management position
• Experience working with sales organisation to understand business needs, develop media marketing plans, track growth and report results
• Experience in agency management, social media planning & execution
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Desired
• Demonstrated experience of high quality, sales focused campaigns
• 360 degree/ Integrated marketing: Understanding of digital marketing including Social Media Planning & Execution
• Field Marketing Execution with a channel ecosystem experience also a plus
• Experience within manufacturing and a B2B environment preferred
• Excellent interpersonal relationship building and team-building skills
• Excellent analytical, verbal, written and communication skills, and able to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences
• Ability to analyze and strategize business requirements, processes and positioning
• Excellent problem solving skills, and demonstrated ability to handle complex challenges even under pressure
• Strong work ethic, proactive and problem-solving attitude along with conflict resolution skills
• Ability to comprehend and manage complex environments and business interactions
• Extremely motivated and a team player
• Good grip on the macro-economic scenarios and multi-cultural diversity
• Ready to travel 30-40% of the working days
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a matrix type interpersonal environment
