Business Operations Associate

This role can be remote anywhere in the US.

The Business Operations Associate will join a small and agile Global Operations team that defines, implements, and supports critical business processes for a leading CAE software vendor. The Global Operations team responsibilities include but are not limited to leading or supporting product portfolio management, licensing, technical support infrastructure, financial reporting, sales operations, customer success, project management, documentation, and cloud transformation. The Business Operations Associate will support projects across all the responsibilities of the Global Operations team.

  • Work with Global Operations, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to support the definition and execution of operations projects
  • Help to identify and implement automation and improvements to current processes
  • Support reports needed for scheduled management meetings such as Quarterly Business Reviews, Operations Reviews and Board of Director Meetings
  • Provide ad hoc reporting in support of executive management requests
  • Provide ad hoc support to commercial teams and customers for Global Operations projects
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field required. Advanced degree a plus
  • Certificates, classes, seminars, etc. in business-related topics desirable.
  • 2-5 years working with business application systems and other business-enabling enterprise applications preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in business software applications such as Excel, Powerpoint, ERP,, PowerBI, and modern software deployment (SaaS and cloud-based)
  • Outgoing and responsive with excellent verbal and written communication skills (English), including ability to create clear and concise management reports
  • Well organized
  • Timely decision making
  • Strong multi-tasking ability
  • Global business experience preferred
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Must be detail oriented and self-motivated
