Material Controller

  • Support the Planning & Logistics Manager,  leads and encourages members of the team to achieve business targets
  • Will offer support and help, sharing information and expertise ERP & ServiceMax
  • Review, update and process all orders in the order processing folder within set timeframes along with team
  • Procurement and expediting of all product required with suppliers for customer orders & calibration
  • Ensure shipments are sent within agreed time frame with customer – KPI 100% OTD
  • Ensure that accurate order acknowledgements are issued to all customers
  • Updating the systems accordingly within process guidelines.
  • Adherence to and management of specific processes
  • Ensuring timely completion and processing or Standing Order and Direct Debt mandates as required. 
  • Provides weekly progress reports on current status, and reports these as required.
  • Maintains current plan and financial forecast
  • Warranty returns to be managed and kept up to date on system
  • Warranties, non-conformance and customer corrective action reporting / support with the quality manager
  • Arrangement of transport as and when required, obtaining the best price possible
  • Adhering to HMRC regulations and obtaining BTI ( Binding Tariff Information) for Hexagon Metrology Ltd, and customs 
  • System stock control and accuracy and reporting along with visual management control of stores area
  • Facilitation of team meetings to update personnel and maintain the systems
  • Request support from Planning & Logistics manager and HR manager when required
  • Managing all ADMT Interco order with EMEA CO’s
  • Additional duties may be assigned from time to time
