Hexagon Metrology Nordic is part of Hexagon, a global leader in sensor, software and autonomous solutions. Hexagon Metrology Nordic, the sales unit responsible for the Nordic countries, offers machine sales and extensive aftermarket support, including service and calibration, training, technical support and contract inspection.

Current Service Manager for Hexagon Metrology Nordic will leave Hexagon after several years in the company. We are now looking for his successor, who will also become part of the local Management Team.

The Service Manager manages and leads the Service department, in charge of providing installations, service & calibration, repairs, and spare parts to customers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.  

The Service Manager reports to the General Manager, Hexagon Metrology Nordic AB.

Tasks in detail:
  • Lead the daily operations of the service department – 23 direct reports.
  • Responsible for Service sales & cost budget.
  • Develop the service business volume and profitability.
  • Continuous follow-up and development of processes and routines.
  • Member of Nordic Commercial Operations Management Team.
  • Together with the other member of Management Team, evaluate and develop our offer and communication to the customers.
  • Engineering degree (BSc or MSc).
  • 5 years of experience from a technical field, preferably advanced industrial equipment, manufacturing.
  • 3 years of experience providing services to industrial customers, including commercial aspects.
  • 3 years of people management experience.
  • Engaging leader and a good communicator.
  • Available to travel 20-30 nights/year, mostly in the Nordics.
  • Fluent Swedish and English.

Nice to have:
  • Experience from metrology and/or machine tools equipment
