Short description:

Reporting to the Data Platform Manager, the Business Intelligence Developer will have an opportunity to join a transformational analytics team comprised of technical resources with a wealth of business knowledge.

Tasks in detail:
  • Responsible for creating data-rich dashboards, data model, writing DAX expressions, and implementing row-level security in Power BI.
  • Working technical knowledge of:
  • Power BI reports, dashboards and KPI designs, development and administration.
  • Ability to work with, create and maintain Kimball based models within the Data Warehouse
  • SSIS package development and maintenance
  • Data Warehouse development, maintenance. Kimball (start-schema, snow-flake)
  • Convert EDW data into meaningful insights through interactive and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports.
  • Apply existing Power BI development concept and methodologies.
  • Able to communicate with business users, understand business requirements, propose best practices for self-service BI and provide effective customer service.
  • Participate in regular training to stay up to date with latest technology.

  • 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Deep knowledge of SQL Server DB and SSIS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or closely related field or comparable apprenticeship
  • Proficiency in English is a must.
