Short description:

Our Service & Technical Support unit within the Marketing department is currently looking for a Technical Product and Application Specialist for our PMI/Automation product range.
With a technical-commercial mind and a strong customer focus, the person will be responsible for providing quality technical support to our end customers, our distribution channels and our internal sales force. At the same time, he or she will participate in other projects aiming at the continuous improvement of the processes of the corresponding unit as well as in the elaboration of documentation related to the after-sales service of our PMI product range. He or she may also be asked to assist the Product Managers.

Tasks in detail:
  • Pre-sales advice on customer needs in order to offer the suitable products (more than 2500 references).
  • Advice and technical assistance to end customers, distributors and globally located internal sales forces
  • Active support and application advice for complex tasks with automation equipment.
  • New product testing
  • Strong cooperation and Technical assistance to Product Management
  • Participation in new projects by setting up the whole service part (documentation, updating of the price list for spare parts, etc.).
  • Training of sales forces and distributors (webinars, Live trainings, etc...)
  • Various projects to be managed within the framework of the PMI strategy
  • Customer visits 5 %

  • Degree in microengineering, mechanical engineering, software, electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3- 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of Metrology and Automation (Sensoric /PLC Programming)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office tools or at ease with IT tools in general
  • Fluent in French, Good level in English (Mandatory)/ German is an asset
  • Good communication skills
  • Service and customer oriented
  • Dynamic, proactive, flexible, and versatile
