The software developers are responsible for development and implementation of software source code for SPS and automation topics. They coordinate the activities and manage testing activities as well as life cycle topics for the complete solution. They work closely together with other departments to facilitate the system integration of Automation products and is also willing to make customer demonstrations.

  • Technical responsibility for the products from R&D perspective
  • Development of modular standard products in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Works closely with related R&D teams and other departments worldwide
  • Oversees all aspects of the products including life cycle issues
  • Follows R&D procedures and project processes

Education / Experience:
  • Master’s degree in engineering (mechatronics, informatics, industrial engineering, …) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working experience as a software developer in the field of object-oriented programming (C++, C#, …)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience within the field of automation
  • Very good knowledge and programming of standard automation products like Siemens, Allan-Bradley or others
  • Experience in the field of industrial networks and network communication (Ethernet IP, EtherCat, Profinet, OPC/DA, OPC/UA, MQTT)
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competency of efficient problem solving
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work independently as well as proactively
  • Fluent in English is mandatory
