The Project Manager oversees all related R&D projects. He/She plans the projects according to agile principles, coordinates implementation and manages testing activities for the complete solution. As an interface function, they work closely with the related persons and stakeholders. They make sure, that the projects are delivered on time, in budget and within scope.




  • Provides leadership and management on R&D projects
  • Works closely with related R&D teams worldwide
  • Oversees all aspects of the project using planning and monitoring systems
  • Plans resourcess with team leaders of cooperating R&D teams
  • Implements and follows R&D procedures and project processes by using agile methods, reporting on the performance and initiating improvements for R&D
  • Organizes and runs projects according to agile management methods
  • Works closely with product management to understand requirements and to guarantee, that products are delivered and launched to the market on time
  • Runs the project in an efficient and effective way to ensure that products are delivered on time, fulfilling requirements with the required quality whilst also keeping within project budget


Education / Experience




  • Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Informatics, Industrial Engineering, …), PhD or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • In ideal circumstances working experience as a software developer in the field of object-oriented programming (C++, C#, …)
  • Experience as a Project Manager in cross functional hardware- / software projects
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of working experience with working in or leading agile project teams
  • Certification or experience as a scrum master and with agile methods is advantageous
  • Certification as Project Manager (IPMA level C or higher) is advantageous
  • Very good team leadership skills with a background of working together with an international team and staff at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills, sense of urgency and responsibility
  • Competency of efficient problem solving
  • Entrepreneurial drive and strong working ethics
  • Ability to work independently and yet be fully accountable
  • Fluent in English is mandatory, German is advantageous
