XMeet the leadership team for Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division
Appointed President of the Manufacturing Intelligence division in 2020, Paolo Guglielmini leads the strategic and commercial development of Hexagon’s Smart Manufacturing solutions. He has served in key roles since joining Hexagon in 2010 – from strategy and business development to mergers and acquisitions – and most recently as leading Manufacturing Intelligence’s design and engineering portfolio. Prior to joining Hexagon, he held positions at CERN, European Organization for Nuclear Research (in Switzerland) and Accenture (in Italy). Guglielmini holds a Master of Science in Engineering and Master of Business Administration.
David Mills has been with Hexagon since 1999. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Accounting from the University of Hull. He has previously served in various finance positions within Manufacturing Intelligence.
Emanuel Viklund joined Hexagon in 2020 from Stampen Media Group. He previously spent a decade at Ericsson, holding multiple leadership positions in marketing, strategy, sales and business development. Emanuel holds an MSc degree in Computer Science from Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm and an MSc degree in Corporate Finance from Stockholm School of Economics, where he also participated in an exchange with UCLA Andersson in Los Angeles.
Duncan Redgewell was appointed President of the Metrology Devices business unit in 2020, having previously served as Vice President Portable Products. With more than 30 years of experience in the metrology industry, Duncan first took responsibility for Hexagon’s laser tracker business in 2006. In his current role, he is responsible for the ongoing growth, business development and strategic roadmap for Hexagon’s metrology hardware portfolio.
Stephen Graham joined Hexagon in January 2017 as Vice President Marketing and is based in Cobham, UK. He has been leading the Metrology and Production Software business unit since 2020. Prior to joining Hexagon he worked in marketing positions for over 25 years in the technology industry, most recently for Qualcomm Inc., a major supplier of semiconductors for the mobile phone, consumer electronics and automotive industries.
Cofounder of e-Xstream engineering, Roger Assaker joined Manufacturing Intelligence with the acquisition of MSC Software in 2017 and has been leading the Design and Engineering business unit since 2020. Roger holds a PhD and MS in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA in International Business. As well as growing e-Xstream engineering to be the world leader in advanced composite modelling, he is the Vice Chairman of NAFEMS Composite Working Group and active member of other technical material associations.
Hendrik Schafstall has been leading the SFx business unit since 2020. In 1995 he cofounded the FEMUTEC engineering firm which became Simufact Engineering GmbH. Prior to the company’s founding, he was employed as a research associate at the Helmut-Schmidt-University of Hamburg. Previously, he was a mechanical engineering student at the Leibniz University of Hannover and received a diploma as a graduate engineer. Hendrik joined Manufacturing Intelligence in 2017 with the acquisition of MSC Software.
Angus Taylor joined Brown & Sharpe in 1987 and has been with Hexagon in its various guises since then. Notable positions in his Hexagon career include President of Romer, Inc and Vice President, Strategic Business Development of Hexagon Metrology, Inc. Angus led the metrology organisation in North America from 2008 to 2020, when he expanded his role to take responsibility for all Manufacturing Intelligence business in the North and Central America region.
Stefan Ruh joined Hexagon in 2008 and held various positions in the metrology organisation. He was appointed to lead the EMEA metrology organisation in 2017, and in 2020 expanded his role to take responsibility for Manufacturing Intelligence across the EMEA region. He holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and a post diploma degree in Industrial Engineering. Before joining Hexagon, Stefan held various senior management positions in the Metalworking and Automotive Industry.
Hao Jian has been with Hexagon since 2001. He holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering. Hao Jian has more than 20 years of experience in the metrology industry and has obtained a number of patents. He has served in a variety of senior management positions and currently leads the Manufacturing Intelligence organisation in China with a focus on continuing our long-term and stable growth in the region.
